Neutrino, Inc. / Real Sparks LLC: PHP Developer wanted – CodeIgniter / WordPress / MVC (Seattle / Los Angeles / Orange County / Tampa Bay Area “Online”)
Hello, we’re Neutrino / Real Sparks – we create web sites (and other assorted technological goodies) for high-end real estate companies. NOT as boring as you might think! We place very heavy emphasis on design and the design process, and as a result we have some very innovative, high-quality web sites that use the latest tech. We are a small team, and as we are growing, we’re looking for a great on-demand individual who can help us expand our small army of PHP developers.
What We’re Looking For:
We have new and existing projects that need some more developer muscle forus to build and maintain. We’d want you to help out as a part-time contractor to kick some butt with us and knock out these various projects.
Ideally we’d like to form a relationship that’s long-term. If you’re a fit for us, we would love to bring you onto the team and continue sending you work until the end of civilization. This is our goal.
Is This You?
Our dream person (more a wishlist, than a full skill requirement):
- A solid PHP developer
- Good W/M/LAMP skillz
- Is Linux-friendly (you can compile stuff, fiddle with PHP modules, etc)
- Has CodeIgniter experience
- Plays with WordPress like it’s the new Voltron
- Is down with Smarty templates
- Is down with Amazon AWS/S3/EC2
- Is also down with front-end dev technologies – CSS3, HTML5 stuff, etc.
- Is up to the challenge of getting their hands dirty with a spottily documented custom MVC framework
- Has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge
- Considers themselves a driven individual and an excellent communicator
About Us
At our company we highly value “real life” experiences, good Scotch and sport an easy-going Aloha spirit. No egos. Just making awesome stuff, sharing ideas, having some laughs and being proud of the work we do.
Ideally you would either be in the greater Seattle area and could come in to our office from time to time, or be in the greater LA/Orange County or Tampa Bay areas and could meet up on occasion (we exist simultaneously in several places). Most days wouldbe spent telecommuting.
